Music Recommendations, care of nick

January 25, 2010

Posted by: nick @ 11:35 am

Though completely unrelated to coffee, I just wanted to throw out some music recommendations. While we are limited on some of the things we can play here at Pascal’s, that doesn’t mean all we listen to are mellow indie-acoustic tunes. Here’s a couple of my favorite albums right now.

Paper Route- Absence (they have an awesome website)

Grizzly Bear- Veckatimest

Heartless Bastards- The Mountain

Phil Collins- …Hits (how can you not love Phil Collins?)

The Swell Season- Strict Joy

The Black Keys- pretty much any album they’ve ever released

And while speaking of music, don’t miss Hoyle Tuesday night at the Atlantic downtown. Nathan Beam and Kevin O’Keefe played here for our inaugural First Friday series and are playing their first official show tomorrow with the full band. It promises to be a good time so don’t miss it.

Any music recommendations for us, all of you out in the magical land of cyber space?

Pascal’s Coffeehouse and CSC Survey

December 2, 2009

Posted by: nick @ 5:32 pm

Hello friends! We have recently put together a survey to help us better understand the people we are serving and their interaction with the building and coffeeshop. This is your opportunity to let us know how we are doing. The surveys are completely anonymous so be honest and let us know how we’re doing. It’s only 10 questions and will take a couple minutes. For those of you who want to mull over it a bit more there are paper copies scattered throughout the Study Center. Just fill it out and return it to the barista on duty. Thank you for your continued support.
